Osterbind, Brandon Steven

Brandon is a personal injury lawyer practicing in Lynchburg, Virginia.  He helps people recover from their injuries so that they can resume living a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

Brandon lives in Lynchburg with his wife Kelly, their three children, and their miniature dachshund. Locally, Brandon is an active member of Thomas Road Baptist Church where is involved in the Oikos LifeGroup. Brandon is also an active member of the Board of Trustees for Patrick Henry Family Services.

He was born in Richmond, Virginia and moved to Lynchburg in 2001. Brandon graduated from Liberty University in 2005 and graduated from Liberty University School of Law in 2008.  After working at a small law firm in Lynchburg, Virginia for 7 years, Brandon decided to start his own personal injury and civil litigation law firm in 2017. He has handled numerous civil cases of varying complexity. Primarily focusing on personal injury litigation, his practice includes car accidents, accidents caused by drunk drivers, dog bite cases, malpractice, motorcycle accidents, nursing home injuries, pedestrian accidents, products liability, tractor trailer accidents, wrongful death, and workers compensation cases.

Brandon brings productive, skilled, and detailed representation to every case he takes. Brandon immerses himself in each case and drives the results by intentionally pursuing his client’s objectives.

Brandon graduated first in his class at Liberty University School of Law. During law school, Brandon actively participated in moot court competitions and law review earning several moot court accolades and the publication of his Comment entitled “Not-So-Equitable-Liens: ERISA Fiduciaries Cross-Dress Legal Remedies as Equitable,” which is all about how health insurance applies liens on personal injury recoveries.

In addition, Brandon contributed to the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section’s 2008 Annual Review of Securities Regulation with a short portion entitled “Exemption of Compensatory Employee Stock Options From Registration Under Section 12(G) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Brandon also worked tirelessly to research and edit Professor Rodney D. Chrisman’s law review article entitled “Stoneridge v. Scientific-Atlanta: Do Section 10(b) and Rule 10b-5 Require a Misstatement or Omission?

Brandon earned the Advocates Award signifying outstanding achievement in appellate advocacy and the Roger C. Bern Planning Award for outstanding achievement in legal drafting, planning, and problem solving. After graduating from law school, Brandon clerked for the Honorable William G. Petty on the Court of Appeals of Virginia where he was responsible for drafting both published and unpublished legal opinions deciding cases and controversies at the appellate level.
