Brian launched The Moore Law Firm in 2015 after spending seven years with joined Phillips, Morrison, Johnson & Ferrell as a divorce and family law attorney. His prior experience includes practice in a nationally recognized banking and finance law firm headquartered in Dallas, TX and as a trial and appellate attorney for the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission.

Brian primarily focuses on serving clients as a divorce and family law attorney.  He also handles trusts wills, and estates.  Brian regularly manages complex divorce, spousal support/alimony, child custody, visitation, and child support cases.  He is especially focused on complex equitable distribution issues involving marital business, investments, medical, dental, and other professional practices.

Despite his primary focus on divorce and family law matters, Brian has diverse interests.  He takes on a select number of complex or unique cases each year in order to constantly broaden his base of experience.  Past cases of this type include successful litigation of a multimillion dollar trust suit, various English Common law/equity cases, environmental and regulatory compliance matters, suits against insurance companies, and Freedom of Information Act enforcement proceedings. Brian also handles appeals to the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Virginia Supreme Court.
